On Monday, DENIC proceeded to close down the domain "heil-hitler.de". This domain was registered through a web host called Strato on 3 August.

DENIC has brought itself into line with established international practice by simplifying its terms and conditions for the registration of domains. It has made them more transparent and further strengthened the position of domain holders.

The "Foris" case now wound up by the Naumburg court of appeals

Since the end of June 2000 the data of domains that end in .de can only be retrieved via the German registry DENIC.
