We apologize for the inconveniences this may have caused. However, please note that DENIC is complying with the predefined and accepted processes known to the providers. It is not correct that DENIC's technical and administrative processes are not working or not working properly. In particular, there has been no root zone failure or a blocking caused by DENIC at any time.

If you are a customer of the provider NAG Datacenter AG and have received a TRANSIT information letter from us, your .de domain is going through the so-called "TRANSIT procedure" of DENIC eG.

With the TRANSIT password stated in this letter you can log in to the service center and initiate a provider transfer, which means you transfer the administration of your domain to another DENIC member*. Subsequently, the provider you request to take over the administration of your .de domain can implement the next steps on your behalf.

Please note: Different from the information currently in circulation, the TRANSIT procedure does principally not allow a change to the domain data, such as address data and, in particular, name server entries. Such changes will be made by your future provider.

You find information how to use the TRANSIT service center and on the TRANSIT procedure as such at transit.denic.de. If your .de domain administered by NAG Datacenter is not available and you did not receive a TRANSIT information letter from us, this may be due to the fact that your contact data stored in our database is not up to date and that the letter could not be delivered. In this case, please contact the DENIC Support.

Please note that DENIC is responsible exclusively for the administration of domains with the ending .de. If you are a customer of NAG Datacenter AG and the holder of a domain with another extension, for instance .com, please contact the respective competent registry or your provider NAG Datacenter AG.
