DENIC reduces the Prices for Domain Registrations from 1 January 2000

DENICdirect customers will be pleasantly surprised, because DENIC eG, the central registry for German Internet domain names, cuts its prices. Beginning 1 January 2000, all invoices will be made out in Euro. This change produces an effective price reduction of over 2%, since the currency conversion from Deutsche Mark to Euro will be done in a 2:1 ratio. Customers, who register a domain directly with DENIC, will therefore pay Euro 116 instead of DM 232. Administration for every further year will cost Euro 58 instead of DM 116. Old service contracts will automatically be transferred to the new conditions.
