On 26 November 2010,  another milestone was reached – DENIC registered the 14 millionth .de domain. It has the melodious name corangeli-glas-design.

The evolution of the country code Top Level Domain is a real success history: From an institution informally administering domains it has developed into the largest ccTLD worldwide. Recording an average growth rate of one million per year, .de is extremely popular: Every sixth inhabitant of the German Republic has already registered a .de domain.
