How to Set up a .de Registry Lock

The domain holder requests the creation of a .de Registry Lock for their domain(s) via his /her provider.

The provider passes on the request to DENIC that then checks whether the request includes all the information that is required. If this is the case, the .de Registry Lock is set up and recorded in DENIC's database. The domain holder, the provider and the Lock Contact are informed about the successful creation of the .de Registry Lock by e-mail.
