Ascension Day - Office Hours

Due to the public holiday Ascension Day, 13 May 2021, the DENIC head office in Frankfurt is closed. Of course, the 24/7 service will be on duty and can be reached in case of an emergency.

On Friday, 14 May 2021, we are available again during regular business hoursurs.

Assuming responsibility for central IT systems of the German Internet is just the right challenge for you. You like to take new approaches, seize opportunities and exploit possibilities in tackling this task. This is precisely what we do in our self-organised, cross-functional agile teams (currently up to 100 percent remote). The most important components of our technology stack are CentOS/Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Salt, Sensu, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, ElasticSearch and PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

You are a software developer (f/m/d) with significant experience and will support us in the continuous development, automation, and scaling of our systems. As a member of one of our service-oriented DevOps teams you will be responsible for the complete life cycle of the services. Your focal task will be software development. Additionally, you are interested in the complete automated CI/CD pipeline, from development and quality assurance via installation, operation and the related monitoring up to incident handling. Feedback from these Ops work areas will be seamlessly integrated in your optimisation and development work. Maximum availability and utmost information security have major priority in this context.

Requirements:

You have a university degree in computer sciences or successfully completed a comparable vocational training. The ideal candidate can look back on at least three years of work experience and has already put their knowledge to the test. A solid command of at least one of the three programming languages Python, Java or Golang is essential for us. Know-how of the use of Internet protocols, such as DNS, would be an additional benefit. Some experience with agile development methods would make your profile perfect. You have the ambition to constantly improve your skills and to get to know new technologies and concepts. You deliver full stack. Full stop.
