DENIC sponsert 78. IETF-Meeting Ende Juli
Die Entwicklung (offener) Standards und damit des Internets insgesamt zu fördern ist ein grundsätzliches Anliegen von DENIC und Teil ihrer Strategie, der Netzgemeinde dauerhaften Nutzen zu stiften. In diesem Sinne tritt DENIC regelmäßig als Sponsor bedeutsamer Internetressourcen und -veranstaltungen auf, so auch im Rahmen des bevorstehenden IETF-Meetings vom 25. bis 30. Juli in Maastricht.

A whole kaleidoscope of hot topics and questions all around the protocol extension DNSSEC and the persistent great interest of the Internet community made the third .de DNSSEC testbed meeting at the premises of DENIC another success.
Upgrade of public-whois in Test Environment
DENIC has comprehensively reviewed the public-whois information query service which comes in a much more user-friendly configuration. A test version is now available in the DENIC test environment.

DENIC is the central registry for all domains under the Top Level Domain .de and thus responsible for the operation and the technical reliability of an important resource of the German Internet. We provide an automatic electronic registration system for administering .de domains and we operate a network of name servers distributed all over the world. In doing so, DENIC performs a technically demanding task, and along with its members, it shoulders responsibility for an important segment of the Internet.
