How is the technical competence verified?
It is in everyone's interest - that of DENIC, that of the member and not least that of the domain holder - that domain administration in Germany continues to be marked by stability, know-how and a sense of responsibility. For this reason, members are required to attend a two-day training course to provide them with the appropriate knowledge about the processes and details of the DENIC registration system. The costs for places for two of your employees are already covered by the processing fee.You will find the training documents as well as the enrolment form on the DENIC member website, which you can access as soon as you have been accepted as a member. Trainings will be held regularly, at least once a month or even more often if necessary. The training courses end with an acceptance test. As soon as one of your employees has completed the training and the test successfully, we will countersign the Member Terms and Conditions and return them to you. Then you only have to set up a registration account, and you will be able to directly access the DENIC registration system.According to DENIC's Statutes, a new member is liable to expulsion at the end of the business year if it has failed to conclude the first agreement for the use of the services provided by the Cooperative within a period of three months after becoming a member (Member Terms and Conditions). For details, please refer to the relevant passage in our Statutes.
